Rainer’s Custom Cutting is a third generation family business overlooking the North Thompson Valley near Barriere, BC. Originally a beef and dairy farm the Rainer family homestead was started in the 1930’s. A modern meat shop was built in 2005 and features two walk in freezers, a quick chill cooler, two large hanging coolers and a separate game cooler, as well as smoke house. Butcher Ben Rainer works together with the rest of the Rainer family and others to continually further the development of the meat industry in the Thompson River Valley in BC’s Interior.
All of our products are free from added growth hormones and antibiotics, and have not been introduced to animal by-products. We are committed to providing customers with locally produced and processed meat products. Most of our products are locally-raised animals and processed on-site.
We specialize in customized cutting and wrapping of beef, bison, pork, sheep, goats, poultry and game. We provide animal processing services, and further processing including fresh & smoked sausages, beef jerky and cured meats. We have a wide range of meat products for sale in our meat shop on site, open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
