Over the past 50 years, our offerings have expanded to include fresh shellfish and seafood. Intercity Packers has been a CFIA Federal Inspected Plant since 1983. There is a CFIA Inspector onsite daily, to ensure the Intercity Packers Food Safety Programs meet the Meat Inspection Regulations. Intercity Packers have had its HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Program in place since November 1, 1999. This program is recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
