Shortly after we got married in 2004 Chad attended Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops B.C., a move from family and friends down in Chilliwack and Abbotsford. At TRU Chad took the Meat cutting Course they offered, finishing top of the class, I was also in school at the time. Before we finished our schooling and started looking for opportunities we found ourselves looking at the Okanagan/Boundary area or further up north of BC, after watching the weather over the year we decided we really like the climate in this area, soon after we found ourselves with a business opportunity. Magnum Meats is now growing as demand seems to increase and people now want more and more ranch raised beef/pork and lamb. We also think people enjoy knowing where the meat has been processed and that they are having a quality job done on the meat. We have two great employees at this time who help with packaging, trimming, grinding hamburger, etc. We have just bought property in Rock Creek in hopes that one day we can build a shop that will meet all needs for the business. We hope to have a fresh frying sausage. Our family is also growing as we now have two little children we are looking forward to raising in the area.
