Tranquility Farm

Tranquility Farm is located on the shore of Francois Lake in the heart of the Lakes District of central British Columbia. This family operation raises grass finished highland beef and purebred highland cattle. The highland cattle are managed in a rotational grazing system on a large private acreage, ensuring the land and vegetation stay healthy and the cattle have their choice of tender young shoots during the complete grazing season. The farm provides the best quality hay available during the winter months and their cattle always have fresh water supplemented only by free choice salt and mineral. The cattle’s long top coat and fine undercoat reduces the need for excess “back fat” to keep them warm which produces a naturally leaner, lower cholesterol beef product. Highland beef’s signature natural marbling enhances the quality, taste and tenderness of Tranquility Farm’s growth hormone free beef. Samples of products may be arranged on availability.
