I really liked the whole venue and the energy in the room! In my opinion the whole day was just amazing and well organized! I really liked that the final display of the 3 finalists was displayed in front of spectators instead of on the side!
I sure will be there next year to defend the title!

All in all, the event was fantastic! It definitely didn’t feel like a first inaugural event. Thank you to everyone involved with making it happen and a big thanks to the judges for taking time out of their schedules to watch a bunch of meat heads chop stuff up 😝!

I really enjoyed the ability to watch my other competitors, after competing. The different skill levels and techniques were great to help me expand my knowledge and cutting abilities. The other competitors were all really friendly and encouraging.I loved meeting new people and making new connections within the meat industry in our province. All in all, I think it was a great event, I am grateful for the work the organizing committee put into the event, and am looking forward to competing again next year.

I really enjoyed being able to be compared to some of the best people in the province. Overall it feels like it’s opened up a new world in this business for me and its’s pushing me to become better. I just wanted to say I really appreciate all the support and positive feedback from the whole group, you guys will definitely be seeing me again.
